Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
Happy for Ingram. Very good guy. Sorry about my absence recently. I've had a ton of major renovations going on at the "casa".

Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
I am not sure what to make of this move.
I did feel those four weeks sans Cleveland, our offense was unstoppable. |
Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
Murray ran a 4.3 at 6'3 230 and someone told me today Ingram is faster...

Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
we don't have draft picks so we MUST come out strong in FA

Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
Keep in mind that Murray was behind a horrible o-line last year and the Vikings offense being so pass happy didn't make it easier on him. They threw the bank at Kirk Cousins and then went super pass heavy after that.

I'll miss MI. I really hoped he was gonna stay with us. But I knew there was a good chance he was gonna leave. Damn.

He was great at keeping moving after initi3contact past few years. But saw him break free plenty of times and then get run down. I'd like him to stay but not 8ml liked him to stay. Too many holes and not enough cash |
Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
Let's hope the move doesn't have a negative impact on Kamara. He and Ingram were like brothers.

Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
What if it’s not Ingram going what if just if kamara is traded for 2 # 1,s?
|
Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
Some of these mock drafts don't even have a RB going in the first round. This might be a great year for us to lie in the weeds and find a sleeper RB in the late rounds or UFA. Even if Murray turns out to be lackluster, things can change quickly.

Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
Don't apologize. I was wondering why it's been so quiet around here...no one arguing or anything. Lmao!
A QUICK B&G MATH LESSON (2018 TRADE 2 #1'S FOR A PLAYER + 2019 TRADE A PLAYER FOR 2 #1'S) (ONE OF THE 2019 #!'S CANCELS OUT ONE OF 2018 #1'S) = EGGSPURT ALL YEAR ABOUT LOSING 2 #1'S 2 YEARS IN A ROW!!! |

Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
Looks like kind of a lateral move. I like Ingram and especially the fact he seems very respect in the locker room. I'm dreaming of another Deuce thou.

Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
Ingram...He’s signing with the Ravens...3yr/15M...I wonder if we could have gotten him for that...rumor was he wanted 7.5+...
|
Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
Well, we offered Ingram 4,5 mil per year. Maybe he thought he could get a lot more.
|
Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
Good guy Mark... Miss him already. |
Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
What a champ Ingram is. Still loves the Saints and always will.

Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
Murray should be ready to show up and show out physically.
Wish all the best to #22 and hope he runs for 2,200 yrds. this season Angry Mark was/is a man..I sure will miss those runs. Watched a Murray highlight vid with him mic'd up and he's for his team.Duel backfield with D.Cook....Hoping he gets in the weight room and brings #26 type runs. |
Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
Went back and saw more highlights of Murray ... he's a strong & fluid runner. Not a lot of dancing. I like the fact that when he is tackled, he falls forward for an extra half yard.
I think he'll compliment Kamara well. |
Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
Just hope he’s as good as MI at pass blocking.

Worth mentioning ... in 2018, Murray had 0 fumbles.
|
Re: Saints Sign Latavius Murray
One last metric that doesn't show up in analytics. Let's hope he can grasp Peyton's offense....quick. Lord knows we've seen our share of FA's who had the numbers between the goal lines but seemed to lack the numbers between the ears.
