If Tate want's to play for like 10 mil per year then that is reasonable price for his talent and Saints should offer him 3 year deal. But I think other teams would pay him more and probably he will get 12-13 mil per year contract.

That money needs to go to Michael Thomas and another complimentary player.....maybe a tight end!

To be fair elite slot WR is also complimentary weapon who will help our offense tremendously.
Average players are getting paid big time and that is the reality with cap going up and thanks to some teams with ton of cap space who are wiling to overpay. Better players deserve more money. That's how it is.

I mean, player who can't run a single route just got 5 mil annually from Chicago Bears. (Paterson)

Yep.

I read (Spotrac) he will command 14M per year

. If this is accurate, probably won't see him signing with New Orleans.

Once slot guy James Crowder got paid, I had a feeling it would inflate the WR market.
