Positional Rankings: Wide Receiver By Pete Prisco
1. Randy Moss, Raiders People might not like him, but he's the best receiver in the game. He will put up amazing numbers for the Raiders this season.
2. Marvin Harrison, Colts Peyton Manning's go-to guy is the best route runner in the game. He knows how to get open and he's tougher than people think. 3. Terrell Owens, Eagles His Super Bowl performance says all you need to know about this guy's game. He's a tough competitor who loves to play the game. 4. Chad Johnson, Bengals With Carson Palmer developing into a potential Pro Bowl player this season, Johnson should be even better. He's a heck of a deep threat. Just ask him. 5. Torry Holt, Rams There is no slowdown in his game. He's coming off another productive season, and there's no reason to think he won't do it again. 6. Andre Johnson, Texans In his second season in the league, he developed into a Pro Bowl receiver. He's big, strong and fast. That's a tough combination to defend. 7. Hines Ward, Steelers If there's a tougher receiver, let's see him. Ward is the kind of player coaches love. With Plaxico Burress gone, he will have to do even more. 8. Javon Walker, Packers He's a deep threat who emerged as Brett Favre's big-play receiver. Walker can flat out run and his long stride makes him deceptively fast. 9. Joe Horn, Saints The thinking was he would start to slow down, but that's not the case. He had another big season in 2004. 10. Laveranues Coles, Jets The Jets believe Coles will return to his big-play ways now that he's back in New York with Chad Pennington. He was used improperly in Washington. http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/positi...ankings/OFF/WR |
