Possibly Connor McGovern at No. 62 or maybe move back into the top of the third where he might still be there and pick up a fourth?

WalterFootball.com: 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Simmie Cobbs

https://withthefirstpick.com/2018/03...outing-report/

Cobbs is a solid receiver and had better development in college than Keith Kirkwood; both players are nearly identical in physical benchmarks, though Kirkwood ran a 4.45 40 vs Cobbs 4.64 combine...

Kirkwood does have larger hands 9.625in vs Cobbs 9.250 in and Kirkwood's arm length 33.875 in vs Cobbs 32 in arms (that total difference in 1.875 (1-7/8)...

May not seem like much, but total wingspan difference will be around 6-8 inches, even with Cobbs more stout body and that's huge in a game of inches (pardon cliche')...

Also, Kirkwood probably has the best hands on the team, now. Guy just catches nearly everything and as he gets stronger and is coached by one of the best in the business, Curtis Johnson, KK is trending up...

Ultimately, coming out last year, Cobbs had the higher floor, but lower ceiling; but I have more faith in player ability and our now great positional coaches - we have some of the best at their respective positions...

Funny you bring up Al Toon (Sr.) as I think of Kirkwood as a better comparison...

Cobbs has physicality of Mike Evans, just less speed and suddenness to separate form defenders, so he can be checked by LBers which is a loss in matchups; but he's still a quality NFL WR 4/5...

2019 NFL Draft is a down year for draftable CBs (i.e. quantity)...
