Re: 2019 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook

Guess Saints Coaches will be promoting two (2) practice squad members this week...

I think it'll be a TE (Dan Arnold) and a WR (Emmanuel Butler)...

When the two practice squad guys are promoted, we'll likely re-sign Taylor Stallworth to one of the practice squad slots...

Maybe get another offensive lineman...

And we'll cut Barrett by week's end, cause that's what we do...

Guess we'll also get an update on Peat too. I read one of the reporters spotted him in a walking boot after the Rams game.

But I'm really concerned about Tre Smith and his ankle. Hopefully it's just a mild bruise.

I base this on nothing more than 'vibe', but I think this kid is going to work out.

Well, that didn't age well...

We’re really going into Seattle with a receiving corp of Thomas, Ginn, Carr and Humphrey. Yikes.

Maybe not even that much, Chris...

I'll guarantee you one freaking thing, if TE No. 87 doesn't get his arse in gear, we can forget about going .500 till Drew gets back...

Jared Cook has been M.I.A. since the season began, it's getting harder and harder for him to hide with so many guys out now...

He will correct his mistakes and play better going forward.

I tend to believe Southlake aka Jordan Humphrey was called up because of the position of "need" @ slot. Seattle has physical corners, so Jordan needs to somehow, someway create separation off the line. Use that size/frame to your advantage.

He's still extremely raw.
