what... he help us beat the Rams and get us into the playoffs... the only problem is he did it in a Rams uniform... Lets thank him for that one and cut him a break. He was a Saint at heart then now he just wants to put the uniform on... like it was always ment to be...

I'm not thrilled with him but the upside is that he's proven to be a lethal #3 WR. He's also proven he'll never be a #1 or #2 WR, but as the #3 guy in the slot, he's been quite successful. And with Lewis on the team, he won't be fielding punts. Also, last year he had how many fumbles? I think it was a whopping ONE.
I'll give the signing a B. He's pretty damn good insurance in case Devery flops. And since I'm not hearing any praise outta camp about Devery (other than the generic "he's working hard"), its a good sign the coaches are just as worried. |
True, I wonder why they don't seem worried about DT. I feel that is the last spot we really could use someone. The LB position is questionable but involves a bunch of smart young developing guys. I feel that position will work out at least to be productive. DT has proven avg at best players and a lard butt who shows no promise. I just don't understand the lack of attention to that position. Sorry bout the post on other topic. (On Hakim, I will say that he at least hasnt dropped in yards if you ignore the two exceptional seasons for the Rams)

he has improved on the fumbles issue. I like the insurance policy he gives us... sure Pathon is without a doubt better but for a number 3 wr he was to much. This will buy us sometime to one of the developmetal WRs develop.

I don't know about this move. The guy has speed, but no hands...... hmmmmm that sounds really familiar to me (Stallworth, Henderson, Beerman). I agree with you AllSaints, this just doesn't sit right with me.

he's been improving catching and not fumbling.
