They didn’t sign any of the top-priced free agents, but they found players to fill holes and re-signed some of their key players that hit the market. For now, it seems like the Saints have a roster capable of contending for the Super Bowl again in 2019, but they’ll surely continue to add some cheaper free agents between now and training camp.

Some of the players who could rejoin the 90-man roster at some point are players that were with the Saints last season but have yet to find new teams in free agency.

Currently, the Saints have 13 unsigned free agents, including safety Kurt Coleman and Daniel Lasco, who were cut shortly before the start of the league year. Out of all these 13 players, just two have reportedly had visits with other teams, linebacker Manti Te’o (Raiders and Lions) and offensive lineman Jermon Bushrod (Panthers), though it’s possible other player visits have gone unreported.

Brutal stretch of football & a grind ... solid depth is the name of the game.

I'd like to have both (PJ will come cheap) back. Kind of surprised no one has picked up Tyeler though.

And LeRibeus too. Didn't he play okay in spot duty?

Struggled (saw duty when Peat went down) a bit in run support but unfortunately he can't stay healthy.

PJ is good depth which is a necessity during a 16 week schedule. He makes mistakes but he also makes plays and that is acceptable for a back up. Crawley is a head scratcher for me. He can make occasional plays and has starter potential also, let's not forget that he does have an excellent position coach.

I've watched Davison grow since we drafted him but I wonder is he's hit his ceiling? We may feel like we can do better for a player whose snaps will go down when Rankins and Onyamata are on the field. I hope Brown delivers and apparently the front office feels like he can. since we pay him good money.

I still don't see the replacement for Okafor on the roster yet. His snaps would have gone down this year with the increased playing time for Davenport after a year of seasoning. However, we have to be prepared for injury with a quality back up. to keep up the pressure in the rotation.

Bromley and walker should come cheap and make a solid depth on the d line for the saints. PJ can kick rocks

Payton had admitted in post-game presser last season that they played Josh LeRibeus hurt because they were short-handed and he regretted pushing him, but commended his effort...
