It seems to me that several years back a lot of guys wanted him gone due to the high injury list and sheer volume of season ending IR's. My, how times have changed?
The youth movement has been good to keep more players on the field and out of the hot tub. I remember the cross training Payton wanted us to do when he came back from suspension didn't help either because of the joint related injuries that we sustained before he quit the program. iirc |
