this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Brees did appear to tail off some, but injuries to the offensive line had as much to do with that as Brees getting older......

Bingo. Had the line held up most of the remaining games wouldn’t have even been close and he would have run away with MVP. I still think he got a little nicked up in that Dallas game and wound up having to play through it the rest of the year.
