Both have serious on-going injuries.

Kam would be crazy to play again with his neck - know he wants to go, but he's got a great leg up in life than most and he should start that next chaper...

Baldwin just doesn't have the physicality factor to play in the NFL; he's had some big games, just can't stay healthy for that many of them...

We drafted two really, really good safeties (hate doing that in the same year, creates a dilemma like we're gonna see with The Big "O" and Rankins...

Doug Baldwin writes letter that signals his retirement after Seahawks release.

I am in favor of bringing Bryant into training camp and allowing him to compete for a job. There are too many unknowns at this point with the younger receivers.

Don't forget DB hasn't played in a game since 2017 , 30 and coming off a serious injury.

IMO Dez would probably be the biggest "unknown" we'd have on the roster @ WR.

Injuries at WR/no experience left the Saints in a pickle late last season + a beat up O line.

Meredith, Kirkwood & 3Smith will be much improved + we signed Jared Cook.

I get the curiosity and potential value. How does that weigh against lost reps to the unknowns? Every rep to Dez is one less rep for an unknown.

Its a hiring managers debacle.. Do I hire the candidate that is degreed, experienced, ready to go now, but at his ceiling. Or hire the undegreed candidate that possibly has a higher ceiling (natural gift) that might take some time to develop?

Why not? Give the man a shot. He suck around this long, and he's got everything to prove to himself and the rest of the league that he's still a threat. I feel like hee could make a top roster spot and become a valid number 2 or 3 slot receiver. I know we are loaded at the position but I'd really like to see him make a comeback.
