Apple is in a "prove it" year (Saints did not pick up 5th year option).
He'll either get re signed or walk. Similar to WR's, another season of familiarity with the scheme/playbook & off season exercises does wonders for team chemistry. I predict he'll have a big year though & eventually get paid. |

If he could find a way to stop drawing blatant pass interference, that would be great.

He's no Lattimore but definitely an upgrade over Crawley & PJ Williams. Let's see what energy he brings in 2019 . |

Williams reminds me a little of Harper. Good on the line but Im not excited about the thought of him in man coverage. I liked what I saw of Apple. I think our defense will be a force this year.

Marcus Williams was the highest graded rookie safety and third highest safety his rookie year; not sure what happened last season, I'd question if scheme wise if Payton's Defensive Coordinator didn't get away from what worked...

Now if we see a regression as we saw in Marcus, Payton needs to have a "hey @sshole, keep it simple and fix this sh!t now" conversation with his defensive coordinator... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
