Re: Cameron Meredith (knee) is not participating in Saints minicamp.

And we went out and signed Hansen to keep the practice rotations even?

Guess Payton will weigh Meredith's upside vs his availability and will have more data to understand Payton's process on sticking it out vs moving on from a player...

Sad to see a talent like his not be available due to injury; Saints really need to look at who's giving medical advice or how that advice is being included in the decision equation...

I see Seattle's Sneaky Pete Carroll is holding Ziggy Ansah (newly signed FA) out of mini camp/practices until the start of training camp.

Maybe Sean P, trainers and his medial staff are taking a similar approach with Meredith?

Just saying ...

This again. He was 5th on the depth chart for the Bears. That means he was behind 4 BETTER WR's. Way, way down there and only moved up due to injuries. The team sucked that year as well. Nobody was guarding him because it didn't matter. They won 3 games.

I wish him the best but even if healthy he was going to get beat out on this team. Unless of course injuries piled up and he was all we had then yes, he would be the man more than likely.

I was pointing out the fact that you incorrectly claimed that Meredith dropped multiple passes from Brees while standing still wide open. None of this is even remotely true. Yet, you want us to believe anything else you claim about the player?

I saw him drop two gifts. One in PS and one in a game. The PS one turned into an interception but doesn't matter. He's done for now until he can get on the field which appears to be not on this team.

I'm still hoping his knee comes around. Although if it's still bothering him then the possibility of reinjuring himself is very high. He's got time to get healthy....but not much.

Sorry. He didn't have a single dropped pass during the season.

It's quite possible that they scoped him to clear out scar tissue. That would clearly explain his not practicing yet. Clean-ups like that are extremely common following more invasive surgeries.
