Ill go with this:
fa: trade kyle turley to ne for tebucky jones (I know this is wishful thinking)
17- ej henderson
18- best avail. dt (if william joseph falls that would be fantastic)

trade turley to Houston for the 4th pick in the 2nd round pick, 36th overall, and a conditional 3rd round pick in next years NFL draft

17. William Joseph DT 6\'5\" 310 lbs 4.9 Miami

18. Rashean Mathis S/CB 6\'1\" 200 lbs 4.4 Bethune-Cookman

36. Bradie James OLB 6\'2\" 240 lbs 4.7 Louisiana State

54. Jason Witten TE 6\'6\" 265 lbs 4.7 Tennessee

Just to throw my two cents into this:
I will assume we make no trade to move from 17 or 18 in the first round and that the players I mention are of course available. There definitely could be better or worse available at this spot, but I would like to see:
17- E.J. Henderson or one of Sullivan, Joseph or Williams if available at this spot for DT
18- Henderson If DT Taken at 17 or if all DT\'s were gone and Henderson was 17, I\'d draft a project CB like Woolfolk or Mathis pending availability

I will also aggressively pursue dumping Turley for any available draft pick higher than our current 2nd rounder (so at top 48 pick) and move may 17 or 18 to Oakland for Woodson and then address my missed position later in the 2nd round.
Basically it breaks down like this in best case scenario for me:
-Draft E.J. Henderson at 17th (I think he\'s the second coming of Ray Lewis)
-Trade the 18th pick to Oakland for Charles Woodson and sign him to a minimum 5 year deal.
-Draft a project CB and DT with our two 2nd round picks ( 1 recieved in the Turley trade).

I\'m all for that. Even better - we dump Hand and use his $5.5 mill to sign Tebucky Jones after the Patties remove the franchise tag. Then we trade a second, third, and sixth next year with one of those teams that wants to trade down in the draft and use our additional first to draft a stud DT.

Then pickup EJ Henderson with our first at 17. That gives us Jones, Woodson, Henderson, (insert your favorite top 3 DT here) and a project CB with our remaining number 2. Use a number three for a TE or a backup for Deuce.

Sounds great to me - Make it happen Lumm0x!

I am happy that I am not the only one to consider Rasheen Mathis as the 18th pick. I also like Dennis Weathersby over Andre Woolfolk.......plez Loomis don\'t pick woolfolk.

My 17th would be. Jonathon Sullivan(if Jimmy Kennedy,Dewayne Robertson & William Joseph are not available)
My 18th would be. Rasheen Mathis(if Terrance Newman not available)

Free agent pick up Orlandis Gary

(1) Jonathon Sullivan (1) trade down low enough to still pick Rasheen Mathis & pick up a 4th rd) (2) Bradie James (3) Dallas Clark (3) Drayton Florence, Charles Tillman or Ivan Taylor (4) Sultan McCollough (5, 6, & 7) special team players

I\'ve been a big fan of Gary for a while, but there\'s been little talk of him. He\'s a great back up for Deuce. In fact, I think he\'s good enough to see both of them in the backfield at once, double threat-style.

The problem, I think, is that he probably wants a chance to start somewhere. Although, I haven\'t heard him talked about as a potential starter in Houston, Carolina, or any of those places that say that they\'re looking for a runningback. Let\'s sign him!
