Lindy's Rating The Teams
The following chart is a compilation of the position ratings for each team that were included in the preview stories. Each unit is rated on a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest. Intangibles had a plus or minus of no more than 2. That figure was added or subtracted from the total of all positions.

Hadn't. Have now. I think that's hilarious.
But I ultimately agree with Whodi. What a freaking sham those ratings are. Our WRs, which are have been a concern outside of Horn are an 8 but Deuce is a 7. Our D-line ranks as high as our RB??? Get the F out of here. |

You missed the fact that the first rating goes to the coach. According to these rankings, Carolina has better running backs and wide receivers than we do.
Yeah, ok. And can someone explain to me the whole, "this team is not as talented as everyone makes them out to be," mentality that I've been reading on these boards the past few days? |

Using Saintfan logic ....... All Jake Delhomme does is hand off .......Yet for some reason he throws for more yards then Brooks in the wide open Saint offense . Now take into consideration , the Saints are 1 high ankle sprain away from no running game . Carolina can pretty much run whom ever and get the yards . Jake has put the ball down the field and had breakout seasons for Smith and Moose and it seems that Carolina has a good receiver waiting to breakout now every year . Saints have Horn and despite his strong year , still underachieved in comparison to Moose . The rest of the Saints receivers are unproven . |
