Saints get extended look at Marshall Newhouse at left tackle
The New Orleans Saints are more than set at the left tackle position, with Terron Armstead their starter locked in for the foreseeable future.
But given Armstead’s issue with injuries since occupying that starting position, the team is interested in getting a closer look at other prospects they can slot there if they have to. The primary candidate to get that attention so far this offseason appears to be Marshall Newhouse, the veteran blocker New Orleans signed in late May, and who was featured as the left tackle with the first team during the Saints’ recent mandatory minicamp practices. https://247sports.com/nfl/new-orlean...kle-133036042/ |

Re: Saints get extended look at Marshall Newhouse at left tackle
Has anyone seen him play and have an opinion? He's obviously a journeyman and not a starter but can he hold down the fort if Armstead goes down and Peat can't slide over? We've got plenty of guards and centers apparently.
