Agree on BS. It was a damn citation for crying out loud. Some of these rules are downright draconian.
Guarantee whoever signed off on the suspension has had a twirled old Mary Jane around the dance floor a time or two.

Yea because I would put money on it being a division game if he appeals it. How many players have ever actually won an appeal.

On First, Second Down(s), I'd guess Taylor Stallworth at NT and Malcom Brown at 3T...

On third down(s) Edwards and/or Jordan kicks-in 3T and with Malcolm in the middle and Hendrickson and/or remaining edge defender at the End...

Considering it's Roger Godhell handing out the punishment I was fully expecting a minimum of three games out with a suspension. I don't think an appeal will help much. Godhell is judge, jury and executioner. He'll never reduce the suspension. He hates our small market team and coach too much to back track:pissed:

Not since he latest CBA ...

"If a player protests a ruling, he schedules a hearing with the NFL, and his case is assigned to one of the league’s current appeals officers, Derrick Brooks or James Thrash, who are jointly appointed and paid by the NFL/NFLPA. I do not make $2.8MM over the course of 4 years and yet somehow I have managed to not get into trouble at my job over drugs....

I don’t think your job encourages opiate addiction so you can perform on a daily basis. The man just wants a better pain management alternative.

David is 26, been in the league for 3 seasons and has no injury history on record, nor anything from him about pain management... Either while you and he were having a private conversation about my his insights on my occupation he also shared on his battle with pain management... or you pulled the entire reply out of a nether region.

I'm not completely familiar with Mario Edward's body of work but from I saw on a Who Dat Confessional player breakdown podcast (Deuce Windham), he can play the 3tech. Taylor will man the middle (NT).

Houston's O line was rated (Deshaun sacked 62 times) near the bottom half of 2018, so put a spy on him and we should be ok.

Easier said than done though :p. At the end of the day, I'm glad its only a one game suspension.

Depending on how camp goes, I could see the Saints bringing in another DT prior to the season opener.
