Agree on BS. It was a damn citation for crying out loud. Some of these rules are downright draconian.
Guarantee whoever signed off on the suspension has had a twirled old Mary Jane around the dance floor a time or two.

Since the game he missing is against a AFc team, I wouldn't mind if he bite the bullet and take the suspension.
