The whole reason I wasn’t a huge fan of signing the guy, but it wouldn’t be the saints if they didn’t sign at least ONE lemon every stinking year. Why, WHY?!
Where did you get the "injury waiting to happen" crap? He missed ONE game in 2014, TWO games in 2016, and hasn't missed a game since.

I just found out that he had a minor ankle surgery in March but recovery is on track and he should be ready soon.

Yet another solid performance from our #2 RB.

21 carries
102 yards
1 TD.

Still believe LM is a lemon?

He's only had good games when Kamara went down. I did lose my bet though that he would not make 8 games. He'll revert back to being obscure.

Why does Kamara going down take away from what Murray is doing? He's got no change of pace back to mix it up or give him a breather and he's running right through defenses. And that was a good defense last week.

Seems he's found his rhythm, and that means Kamara can be used more as a slot receiver with Murray in the backfield. Given the Saints lack of depth at receiver, that is a huge development.

Of course, Kamara will still get carries, but he can be used in space a lot more often now.

He has played exceptional with Kamara and Brees out. I even drafted him but that was for a handcuff to Kamara which he has turned out to be so far. He's not getting 12 passes and 21 carriers in a game again unless Kamara is out.

Beast, this isn't fantasy football, my man. Neither he nor Kamara are going to carry a huge load on their own if they are both playing well. Whether or not Murray puts up 100 yard games is strictly a concern for fantasy football, and has nothing to do with the Saints. If Murray is effective, and it allows Kamara to split out wide when he and Murray are both in the game, then that helps the Saints IMMENSELY. And that is all that matters.

Thanks BM.

That's basically all I was trying to say ... literally.

Any-hoots, Atlanta is up next.

Re: T.J. Yeldon

Maybe things finally turn the corner with Brees back and they both are used. One RB getting hit on over 30 plays though is shaking hands with danger and that has been happening since week 2. We are really lucky we didn't lose one of them for good.

Once again Perception Is Not Reality. Murray has carried the ball a total of 80 times through 8 games. Yesterday 21 attempts for 102 yard.

Week 1 6 attempts.
Week 2 5 attempts.
Week 3 2 attempts
Week 4 4 attempts
Week 5 7 attempts
Week 6 8 attempts

Week 7 27 attempts
Week 8 21 attempts

Leonard Fournette is averaging 20 carries PER GAME.

Week 1 19 attempts.
Week 2 29 attempts.
Week 3 20 attempts
Week 4 23 attempts

Week 5 29 attempts
Week 6 15 attempts
Week 7 15 attempts
Week 8 13 attempts
