Winner: Trey Hendrickson, defensive end

Winner: Jared Cook, tight end

Winner: Marshon Lattimore, cornerback

Loser: Ken Crawley, cornerback

Loser: Latavius Murray, running back

Loser: Lil’Jordan Humphrey, wide receiver

Sigler provides some noticeable insight to why he brought the praise, criticism to these player - Real Good Read...

Surprised and particularly happy to see that Hendrickson has reacted positively to the competition in camp...

Equally disappointed to see that Crawley is struggling and has not been able to regain his form...

The Murray signing bothered me more about not keeping Mark Ingram; and the word out of camp so far is concerning...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Time for the perpetual first down and flag machine to go.

By Crawley!

It's a wrap for Crawley. He will never recover. His confidence has been gone (ATL Ridley 3 td game really exposed him) for a while now & apparently he's not grasping what Coach Aaron Glenn is teaching. Dude just can't seem to focus and avoid holding the defender while down field. I fully expect Kayvon Webster (also has value on special teams) to take his job by the end of camp.
Barry from MS likes this.

I knew that other article was a fluff piece. It contradicted everything I heard or read about Murray. Our RB situation could be a problem.

What did it contradict? Payton said on a live interview that he has really liked what he has seen from Murray so far. The article doesn't say anything that contradicts that. It simply states that he has been held out of some practices due to an apparent injury. That's not all too uncommon at this point.

What exactly have you heard on Murray?

Just the other day coach Payton said ... "when you are already a contender, I'm more cautious about injuries".

The season is long & a grind.

Yes. Payton already knows what he has in both Kamara and Murray. There's no need to march someone out there in practice that is dealing with a minor injury when you are counting on him during the regular season. He is apparently far less pleased with the others.

Murray has a moderate injury. Kamara is out there and he is more valuable so not buying the preservation stuff. We brought in all those Vet RB's for a reason. It's also par for the course with Payton. Brings in Vets before the nature of the injury is fully revealed.
