Anyone remember from the baghead days
As I was thinking of the new ad campaign (You gotta have faith) I remember something like that being put on the posters they traded for bags on that Monday night game -- What a mistake -- it was made out of a strudy paper that made great airplanes -- I remember the game had to be stopped for a few minutes when too many of them flew onto the field. What was on that poster -- was it we believe -- or was it we have faith -- or We got Saints spirit -- anyone remember -- its starting to drvie me crazy

Richard Todd mounted an unreal comeback for the Jets and they won of course. The Dome was a smoking facility back then. I remember that so many people were smoking that I was sitting in the end zone with my family and we couldn't see to the other endzone because there was so much smoke, it was like a haze. We left the game and got caught up in a fight outside as we were leaving. That was the first time I ever got caught in a stampede. I remember telling my brother, "hey man look I'm moving and my legs aren't even on the ground!" There were two huge fights outside of the Dome that night and we got caught up in the middle of the both of them on the way out to the car. I made a bad from a Schwegmann's bag where I drew a face with a guy picking boogers out of his nostral. I think I was 10 years old. How can you ever forget. One of my 4 or 5 burned Saints memories in my mind. Thanks for this thread!!!! |
