What’s wrong with Anzalone? Seems like he’s always injured. I like him.

Re: Saints vs. Chargers Game Day Thread
Kaden Elliss had a good game. Good speed and seems to be in the right place.
Hendrickson is showing enough that I think he'll stick around and will be active this year. On Kleins INT he creats good pressure. Davenport just puts his tackle on his ass with a great rush. Great breakup by Smith on a very poorly thrown ball by Bridgewater. Bridgewater looked real shaky and it seems like he has lacked pocket awareness the last two games. Hill is an impressive athlete that is getting better as a QB. He still has a ways to go but posesses fantastic tools to fix a play that is going south. |
W.T. Sherman is my favorite General. After all he did order Atlanta to be burned to the ground.

Forgot to say, I think the DTs as a group had a good day. No big plays up the middle and decent pressure.

As for Teo, there will be a million cuts in a couple of weeks.

Re: Saints vs. Chargers Game Day Thread
I mentioned Manti because he's already familiar with Nolan's system, has chemistry with our backers and is lights out against the run.
Ellis is doing nice things but he's still a rookie. Depending on the severity of Craig's injury, I could see us bringing in another veteran LB at some point. Possibly after that final wave of cuts (teams must reduce to 53) on 8/31/2019. |

Re: Saints vs. Chargers Game Day Thread
Teddy does not need to be cut. He needs to get it right. He looked better against the vikes . But still not setting his feet . It will be corrected . He’s 2 different QBs when he’s fidgety back there or planting. If the guys sick why risk putting your whole team in quarantine for a week. If he had the runs wells that’s no excuse for looking terrible.
