Ok, maybe I assumed that you know my personal stance about this team, like alot around here do.

Howard is our best DE. Grant is right there, but Howard trumps Grant. I do not deny that.
What I saw from both, during their rookie years only it appeared to me that Smith made alot more, with the short amount of playing time he had, vs. Howard who made alot with the large amount of playing time he was given. Was Howard the better rookie at the end their respective rookie years? Yes. All I originally said was he made greater strides.
