I know the kids uncle. He at one point held the record for an emergency ejection at the highest altitude. He may still own it. I’m pulling for the kid.

How many LBs we typically carry? If its 6, Jumper ain't in that number. Besides our starting 3 there's Elliss, Biegel, Robertson.

Didn't Robertson get injured in the last game?

With Robertson on the mend Jumper might get a longer look from the coaches. Maybe he'll make the final 53. Robertson is actually one of my favorite players and I'm guessing it was a hamstring injury. The sidelines swear they heard my hamstring pop from across the field. Hopefully it's a soft tissue injury and he's ready when he's needed.

Well snagging a ball surely doesn't hurt. If you show a knack for ending up with the ball on defence it will open some eyes.

The SR-71 ejection was the highest speed ejection at over Mach 3 from what I recall reading. I don’t know how I feel about telling other people’s “war stories” but since it’s public record.

Amazing story. I was wrong about highest ejection. It was highest ejection in an F/A-18A at the time. Not overall.
