"After the game, Pro Football Focus gave him the highest individual grade of any NFL player in the preseason's second week." That speaks volumes, even if it does come in a preseason game.
The one thing to keep in mind, is what Hill's progress as a passer does for the Saint's offense. By the end of season when Hill was in the gun, most teams keyed on the run and his contribution to the offense suffered. If his apparent maturation as a passer is real, it adds an entirely new wrinkle to the offense. |

If he can throw then he won't have to run all the time. They basically stack the box when he's in and dare him to beat you with his arm. It's looking more and more like this year he's a better passer and won't have to run every time.

I too noticed he threw the ball with his arm and hand as opposed to last year when he chest bumped it!!
