Colts have to do something. I could see them throwing a round 3 and 6 our way

Bridgewater probably has more value to the Saints than any other team in the NFL. Why? ... it allows Taysom to be Taysom in this offense/special teams etc.

What makes you believe the Colts are even remotely interested?

Here is a list of the quarterbacks who became starters at age 30 and were successful for 4-5 seasons:

I think Teddy is a clipboard and baseball cap guy, and Taysom is of course a ridiculously cool Swiss Army knife for all occasions on the field (as others have already said). But I think when all's said and done, Payton does like having veteran clipboard-and-baseball cap guys in the QB room, or on the sidelines, because he's done it like that behind Drew before. Mark Brunnell springs to mind, Jamie Martin, guys like that. Veterans who can hold the clipboard, talk to Drew and the coaches and see stuff, relay information, and be like an extra pair of eyes. That's why I don't see Teddy leaving.

Chase comes to mind- did nothing as a starter but was a good security blanket and Drew loved him

Below are 3 that did. Not quite 29 but share not starting their NFL careers right out of college. It can happen.

I didn't mention "Successful for 4-5 seasons........" I believe these guy also fill that bill.

Roger Staubach Born 1942 joined the Cowboys in 1969 age 27
Warren Moon Born 1956 joined the NFL in 1984 at the age of 28
Curt Warner Born 1971 joined the NFL in 1988 at the age of 27

I like it Bro but we ain’t paying 10 mil a year for a cap and clipboard holder. Teddy starts next season with us or with someone else.

He's only a sophomore, so it'd be the 2021 draft... ;)

Teddy is here for this season as insurance...next year is a different story. I'm not as hyped on him as I was after seeing his lack of production in preseason. He came in after camp last season so this is my first real look at him and I'm not impressed. We may need to develop a successor for Drew who still has a couple of good years in him I believe.

Leave Taysom right where he is....making plays. That is his role and he does it very well. However, his arm sure looked good last weekend.

TB has no value to the Saints. He's pure trash. Hill is better all the way around.
