Re: Saints at Jets Preseaon Game Day Thread
Gun Tight Offset TE
X and TE in the slot. Z on the outside of the X. Y on the outside of the TE. Kamara in the back field. Drag Z and TE. X runs corner route. Y runs post. Block Kamara. Then you make slight variations. Same play except TE runs 10 and out instead of a drag. Same play excerpt Kamara slips out on a wheel route. Run some inside zones and jet sweeps to keep the defense honest and respecting the run. Run some screens. Take the TE out and go 4 WR’s sometimes. Take the Z out and put Kamara there sometimes. I know this stuff seems redundant or minute but NFL teams really just run the same plays and concepts over and over out of different formations with minor adjustments. This would be the perfect formation for the Saints in my opinion. This and the Singleback Wing with two TE’s. |
