NFL fines Saints DE Wes Horton for hit on Chargers QB Cardale Jones

Horton can't be fined until he collects a paycheck. This is so bogus. He has no binding regular season contract at this point. If he makes a roster, yes, but right now it means nothing. Concentrate on fining important thing like being a suck ass Falcons fan.

yes AG totally agree heard this week that these fines are rarely collected. Players union bargains for community service.

I was wondering how that worked. Are fines a % of a players earnings or is it a set figure?
26000 ain’t much for vet with a decent contract but for a walk on UDFA makimg the league minimum it could have a pretty significant impact.
