There has to be more to the story. That had to feel they made a mistake on some level before that game. My guess is the money and talent doesn't add up. The 'prevent' type/style defense has never worked.

Boy ‘ o boy haven’t we been thru that before . They get payed and then preyed upon.

Dennis Allen has put the Saints defense in bad spots time and time again.

No play call should ever expose #26 to having to run down the field 45+ yards singled on a wide out with jets.

The prevent defense sucks....unless we are playing against it. Then it's great. Drew thrives on those scenarios.

In all fairness, even if Ginn didnt make the catch, I'm convinced Lutz Field Goal would have been good from 65-70 yards.
