Todd is hurt. As much as I hate the Rams I have a ton of respect for the kid. In an interview he told ESPN that football was his career but not his life. If at anytime he feels an injury could effect the quality of his life long term he would hang them up because there is more to life than football.
He is a bright guy and very humble. When asked about how he felt about the Super Bowl loss he said he was just thrillled to be there and grateful for the opportunity to just be on the field. He said he was prouder than he had ever been.
I don’t think he will be around in a few years. I don’t think he’s going to be much of a factor really.

They have a RB by committee. He won't be used that much and probably not even in there to block. I doubt he makes it the whole season but it's their own fault for running him into the ground.

Same will happen to us if we don't start using Latavious more. That's why I was devastated when we let Ozigbo go. We should be using a RBBC system.

The Saints must tighten up the run D. It won't matter who the Rams have running the ball (see Duke/Carlos Hyde wk 1) is. Getting David O back helps.

I'm more concerned about the Rams trio of wide outs.

Get (pressure) to Goff, he's an average QB. If he has all day to sit back and survey the field, he'll pick you apart.

BTW, Gurley avg 7 yard per carry last week vs the Panthers.

Like any qb with time will be successful in this league , but like u pointed out I think Goff is common nothing great he is coached up to be good. In the championship game when we had this guy corralled or even half sacked he had a dump valve waiting around him and they make it work. A tight end that released quick to help . Is what changed our game .

Same here, Gurley is a class act. I also feel for him with some of the injuries he's suffered at his young age.

Yeah, but only 15 touches. He's not the workhouse he once was. You are right, tho: Hyde and Johnson fleeced us, so we shouldn't expect less from the Rams rbs

If we don't learn how to tackle we will have a very long day.

That was the worst thing, everything we excelled at last year in terms of Run D, we were awful at the other night.

Anzalone missed quite a few tackles.
