No, they weren’t trash with drew. They are trash with a an we should have let go in the off-season. It’s SP downfall. He felt he could make a diamond out of coal. He was way wrong.

They were trash...that’s why we struggle. He just makes it scented trash with him we should be unstoppable but with poor WR play out offense is limited.

So tell me when they struggled? We played one freaking game this year. If I’m not mistaken, drew threw for well over 300 yards.

Go back to the final month of last year.

We were ranked 32nd in offense between weeks 13 to 16. They were BAD against Tampa Bay, Carolina, and the 2nd half vs Pittsburgh.

Brees' stats TANKED at the end of the year. He went from being neck to neck with Mahomes in the MVP race, to having a collapse similar to Peyton Manning at the end of the 2014 season.

Me posting those stats and showing them, is what got me banned from the SR forums, but it was there. He posted a TD/INT ratio of 7-5, his completion percentage and yards dropped by miles.

Something has been wrong with his offense ever since Dallas took us behind the woodshed and smacked us around. They never recovered from that beating last year. Every team ran a similar gameplan, only a few teams had the personnel to match Dallas' success.

Your point is invalid. It was the same wr all year. Drew was having an amazing year with these “trash” wr’s

How many of them had big games besides Thomas? ALL the games we scored 30 points or more; it was games with Thomas or Kamara or both having monster games. We didn't have any good offensive production whatsoever in the games where those two were taken out.

Our offense ranked outside the top 5 in yards for the first time under Sean Payton.

Yes, those trash WRs really were trash... Go back to the final month of the season. Dallas figured this out and showed the world a blueprint on how to stop us.

While everyone talked about the stupid non-call to the point it made other fan bases hate us for going on and on about it; no one talked about the 2 dropped TDs in the end zone that would've put us up 17-0 and in the driver's seat to a blow out.

Lack of depth at WR came back to haunt us when it mattered the most. No one cared though cause that non-call was so bad and people focused too much on it. Brees was relying on Thomas the same way young Brett Favre threw everything to Sterling Sharpe when that was the only guy he had.

I don’t give a crap about the final 3 games. There was 13 games before those.
K Major likes this.

And in those 13 games before, they were a completely different team.... kinda like how everyone was saying the Patriots were "done" after losing to Detroit, Tennessee and later Pittsburgh.

We peaked in November last year. They were never the same again after that Cowboys loss. Whatever broke in our offense was never fixed and still hasn't been fixed.
