On one third down, Bridgewater clearly showed he was scared to run and that hesitation, when he finally did run, it cost the conversion; so the opposition knows this now... But in Bridgewater's defense, he got no help from receivers not named Michael Thomas who seemed triple-covered most the afternoon; Tre'Quan showed some spark, but was lost promptly to injury... The difference was Warford and Peat; didn't buy the accolades when Warford was elected to the ProBowl and Peat, whom I've rightly defended in the past, lost me showing up out-of-shape for training camp... |
