That's why I prefer Taysom. He knows the reads, has a cannon and his accuracy has improved tremendously. Not to mention he can run and will level you if you try and tackle him.

Bridgewaters entire body language just irked me straight away, like he was just sick of everything when given a chance.

If Taysom goes in as the starting QB we lose all of his intangibles. Bridgewater is more accomplished and working with the ones in practice will give us the best chance. I LOVE Taysom, but putting him in as the starter would be stupid. That's why it won't happen.

Whilst I agree on the "loss of his role" part you mentioned, Payton didnt seem too keen to get him involved anyway once Bridgewater was in. His first touch came in the 4th quarter on a crossing route.

In my view, you either play him at QB as the starter, or not at all incase they both get injured.

I noticed this too yesterday. He didn't really bother running any of the Taysom gimmicks after Brees got hurt.

It seemed last year any time we ran into a problem, Payton's solution was the Tayson Hill trick bag plays.

This right here. He looks like a player whose given up. There’s just something about the way he carries himself. Lack of confidence, chemistry with teammates, something. I just don’t see him providing that spark that players rally behind.
Something about his energy.
Hill on the other hand is full throttle. His attitude is infectious.
It’s not necessarily Tbs play that bothers me it’s his body language.

Just take a second and think about the type of individual that turns down an offer to play for more money and to be the starter for another team. Think about the mentality that Teddy must have making that decision. He wanted to sit on the bench for potentially another 2 years behind Brees and took less money to do it...

Some say it displays loyalty, I think it shows a lack of ambition and lack of confidence. The Dolphins are the worst team in the league, but no one knew that 6 months ago, he wanted to get paid less to carry a clipboard for the next 2 years during his PRIME... that is not a mentality I want from my starting QB. He took the path of less resistance.

It doesn't surprise me he looks bothered to lead the team...

The Saints are 0-42 when running the ball less than 15 times in a game.
