Re: Aaron Glenn

It starts with Dennis Allen. His background is in the secondary after all. Sure Glenn deserves blame as well but I rather not make him the scapegoat. We should address the root of the problem. Changing the secondary coach makes little difference if we're still running with poor schematics.

I just don’t know who to point the finger at papz. It just doesn’t make sense . We give up the most kill shots in the league .

Re: Aaron Glenn

It's definitely puzzling considering we consistently get good pressure up front.

Re: Aaron Glenn

Not sure whose game plan it was to line Lattimore up 8 yards off Kupp on 3rd and 2 in the slot, allowing super easy free releases & 1st downs.

IMO Latt needs to be more up on his guy to bump off the line. He's got crazy make up speed and the hips for it.

Our Zone coverage has been questionable at best. You simply cannot continue to have 3rd and long (10+), allowing 15 yards receptions time after time. It happened vs Texans and now the Rams.

Williams, Latt, Bell aren't as bad as they look out there.

IMO it's on Dennis Allen to coach em up in scheme. He's put our guys in bad situations on 3rd down a lot.

I'm simply not a believer in him as a defensive coordinator.

It could have been worst they had drops in that soft coverage or a premature throw by Goff because of our pressure up front like papz just said. There’s to much space in these schemes.

Re: Aaron Glenn

In years past it took DA time to get adjusted , then we kind of go on a tear . But that’s with Brees keeping our defense of the field.

Re: Aaron Glenn

You people are a bit unreal...

We shut the Rams down for 2 quarters with NO OFFENSE on our part. Their players are very good and can make any defense look terrible. Continually having 3 and outs will wear any defense out.

It was just the 2nd game and I predict it will get worse until Bridgewater plays at a decent level. We haven't seen anything from Bridgewater in the preseason and as a starting QB.

How long do you think Payton plays him before he puts in Hill...
