What made the Brooks vs Delhomme debate so frustrating was that the Saints only needed ONE more win to make the playoffs. We swept Tampa Bay that year and were actually ahead of them in the division when Brooks got injured. That was solely on Haslett for keeping a banged up Brooks out there. |

Wow.. were going off the rails at this point.
I'm all in on Bridgewater and Hill taking care of business. Drew's injury is as bad as it gets for a QB. We have to prepare ourselves because we may not see him back this season. But I could see Drew working on his left arm. |

Re: What if Teddy does well while Brees is out?
There's some propaganda that's being put out there saying he doesn't like gay people because he did a commercial for "Bring your bible to school day."
Apparently, the organization that he was representing in the commercial had "anti-gay" ties. He went on record and said he didn't know about it and has no problem with anyone. Or something like that. Anyway, its the same dog and pony show that our wonderful country is falling into. People aren't allowed to have an opinion unless it the opinion that best fits a more liberal mind set or they're a racist and a bigot and a homophobe. Regardless, he went on record and said he didn't know that the organization had those beliefs or whatever. He made no mention of it in his commercial or whatever. Just urged kids to take their bibles to school for "National Take Your Bible to School Day." The humanity!!!!! Lol |

Brees is anti-gay. His wife is hot and she had his baby a buncha times. He don't like it.

Re: What if Teddy does well while Brees is out?
After being criticized for appearing in a video linked to an anti-LGBTQ religious group, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees sought to “set the record straight.”
“I do not support any groups that discriminate or that have their own agendas that are trying to promote inequality,” Brees said in a video posted to Twitter Thursday that had amassed over a million views as of Friday morning. Hopefully this sets the record straight with who I am and what I stand for. Love, Respect, and Accept ALL. I encourage you not to believe the negativity you read that says differently. It’s simply not true. Have a great day. pic.twitter.com/4RdTahE7EZ — Drew Brees (@drewbrees) September 5, 2019 The criticism stemmed from a video Brees appeared in for “Bring Your Bible to School Day,” an initiative of Focus on the Family, an anti-LGBTQ evangelical group with a history of opposing gay and transgender rights. Focus on the Family was founded in 1977 and, according to the Human Rights Campaign, an LGBTQ rights group, it is “one of the most well funded anti-LGBTQ organizations in America.” The group and its leaders have long opposed same-sex marriage, supported so-called conversion therapy, called the children of same-sex parents “human guinea pigs” and asserted that “transgenderism violates God’s design.” In a separate video shared on Twitter by a local New Orleans sports reporter, Brees said he was “not aware” of Focus on the Family's anti-gay lobbying efforts: He insisted the video he appeared in was solely focused on “Bring Your Bible to School Day” and “certainly not promoting any group associated with that type of behavior.” Drew Brees addresses his “National Bring Your Bible To School Day” video that appeared on Focus on The Family platforms. He said he was not aware of the group’s anti-LGBT views. He says hate goes against everything being a Christian is all about. pic.twitter.com/Jjhexqljo0 — Amie Just (@Amie_Just) September 5, 2019 In the video he uploaded on Thursday, Brees appeared surprised by the “rumors” spread about him that “led people to believe that somehow I was aligned with an organization that was anti-LGBTQ.” “I’m not sure why the negativity spread or why people tried to rope me in to certain negativity,” he said, noting that he lives his life by “two very simple Christian fundamentals.” “That is love the lord with all your heart, mind and soul, and love your neighbor as yourself,” he explained, adding that he loves, respects and accepts “all people, no matter your race, your color, your religious preference, your sexual orientation, your political beliefs — it doesn’t matter.” By Brooke Sopelsa |
