I wasn’t really big on Humphrey’s potential in the Brees-led offense that relies on timing and precise route running. With Teddy or Taysom at the helm though, we need to generate yards however we can and Humphrey is a YAC monster.

This guy can catch the ball. He is the real deal. Too bad he only runs a 4.65 40 yard dash... but he knows how to high point the ball and doesn't drop the ball. He also know how to screen the defender and runs over multiple defenders. He is a really good big WR. He may be one of our greatest FAs ever. |

Re: Saints Promote WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey to Active Roster
I was always high on Lil Jordan even during the combine. His numbers are flashy but his size, power, and ball skills translate well to the field. Butler was the training camp darling but under the lights, Lil Jordan brought it. He will give TB or TH a big target that actually is better in space than Colston was. He still needs some work on the route tree though. Here’s to hoping he can have a big game.
And Cook needs to step up and start contributing. |
