Go get him. Very similar to when we got Shockey. Disgruntled pro bowl player who needs a new home. He won't cause problems here and we could get him some glory and maybe more. What we have now is not going to work without a another playmaker WR.

Cousins is berserk. Plays great a whole season then reverts to nonsense. Smart guy but totally inconsistent and not reliable. He's very fortunate he got that deal.

We are making a move. WR, OL who knows. I would go OL. The lines are way more import than a fancy boy. I think we are getting an solid lineman with this shuffling. Get that and we don't need a basket case.

Cousins fools everybody, just as I have said in previous posts. He's one of those QBs like Ryan Tannehill and Andy Dalton who puts up a few amazing performances against trash teams and fools everyone into thinking there's potential, then they're the same mediocre at best QB any time they play good teams.

He was the same QB in Washington. Their fans had this stuff figured out years ago. They watched him put up epic performances against dumpster fire teams, but then would come crashing back down to earth when they played a real team.

His career record now against teams with a winning record is 5-23. When Minnesota needed a hail mary at the end of that Packers game, he threw a check down. Usually the games are long over and out of reach when he starts padding his stats to look good. It's these numbers that lead to people being fooled and thinking he's got some magic to him. Blake Bortles used to be good at padding stats in garbage time too, but Cousins is the king of it.

Minnesota sold their souls to Kirk Cousins with that ridiculous contract. They looked at their team after 2016 and thought 'hmmmm, we're this close to a SB, we just need one more piece' and decided to go all in on a proven mediocre quarterback.

They get zero sympathy for me. I hope they crash and burn hard. After the 2009 NFCCG, Bountygate and them pushing a rule change on OT, the Vikings rank pretty high on my list of hated teams.

Cousins record is 5-27 vs teams with a winning record. That's 5 wins over what is 2 full seasons worth of football.

QBs don't survive that and eventually become journeymen backups.

Not $84 million guaranteed.
