If you would have told me we would beat the Seahawks and Cowboys without Drew

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I would have said that's fantasy land. But here we are. Dennis Allen deserves a ton of credit. Seattle held to 7 points after 3 quarters at home. Cowboys held to 22 points below their average. We all knew this ...

Cowboys held to 22 points below their average.

We all knew this is what it was gonna take to win games moving forward.

Next week, time for the offense to play a much bigger role (minimum 24 points).

I thought we would get 2 W's with Teddy but not these two. It's unbelievable really like you said but, that's what good teams do. The D put it on their back and carried him to the finish line.

I told you two that a week ago.

Dallas .. paper champions, fabricated "hype".

Skip Bayless is probably on suicide watch as we speak.

I was hoping for 1 win out of these two games plus Chicago.

We may very well end up winning all 3 with Trubisky likely out several weeks.

Yeah they hadn't played a legit NFL team yet. Eli was still QB when they played NY.

It was a good thing we were counting on you to win those games.

The main reason I felt we had a shot against Dallas was based on how awful they looked against the tanking Dolphins.

That game was 6-10 at half time and could've been 13-10 if the refs actually give Miami the touchdown pass with 3 steps down before the receiver dropped the ball.

Looking back at it now; Dallas has played 3 crappy teams and beat all 3 of them, but looked somewhat underachieving in those games compared to how other teams have stomped those same opponents.

Sean Payton thoroughly outcoached Jason Garrett tonight.

This is what games were like back in the Dome Patrol era. Kick field goals, and root for the defense to make a stop, but on 3rd down you felt like you had a really reasonable chance that it would happen. I'm loving it.

Re: If you would have told me we would beat the Seahawks and Cowboys without Drew

You were told, in multiple ways, in multiple threads, by multiple people.

The football acumen here in BlackandGold is relatively high, much higher than on any other Saints board. Many of us use that to our advantage by asking questions and having open minded discussion rather than just stringing together statements. There is no one here that has held/played every position at every level but combined this community has a lot of it covered competently.

An open, collaborative environment is benifical to all EM loved wouldn’t you agree?
