this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; now that Rankins is getting into the mix, is possibly the best in the entire NFL. Davenport looks like a stud, our tackles are awesome... tons of interior pressure, and Cam Jordan is da man. I don't see a better ...

Re: The Defensive line

Our D-line manhandled a darn good O-line.

Malcom Brown finaly showing up with two tackles for loss, Oneymata with a crucial sack, Jordan and Davenport just being tremendously physical at the point of attack.

Re: The Defensive line

Too bad the refs did not call holding on the Cowgirls with the same alacrity as they did with us.

Hadn't seen it mentioned but I'm not sure who is teaching the Peanut Tillman "punch the ball out" but I like it. AJ was beaten on that Witten play but his make up & recovery was brilliant.

Bell, Apple, PJ and Klein have been very opportunistic here.

Ball hawks.

This D can carry us to the playoffs without Brees barring injuries. They are that good. It could be Pats level in a couple weeks. Can't run on it and the secondary is getting better.

If you listen closely enough, you can hear the sound of fantasy football owners across the country putting in waiver wire claims for the Saints Defense/Special Teams!

Two weeks ago, Fanduel had a side pot in their big contest where 100K was divided by any defense who got a score. On a whim, I took the Saints. Two TD's. One by Harris. One by Bell.

Re: The Defensive line

How many snaps did SHeldon play last night? Was he in there a lot? I only heard his name called once but I was so jacked up watching the game, pacing around the room, punching pillows, etc., that I failed to even notice when he was in or not. But there's no question that defense was somehow kicked up a notch last night, especially the line.
