this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; In so many other cities football is a pastime. For us, it is part of our culture, and we identify with the Saints in a way that other fan bases simply do not....

Agree with the sentiment you share - maybe five (5) teams enjoy being woven into the fabric of their community as the Saints are with South Louisiana... Gotta put GB, SEA, DAL, PIT, and BUF in the same category with the Saints, but I've never seen 50+ thousand greet their team at the airport upon return after devastating playoff losses, save NO, BUF... |
