They know it too or they would have signed him by now. Probably why he keeps publicly kissing the Saints ass. He’s practically begging for a job.
He’s garbage and would tear this locker room apart. I don’t think Thomas or Kamara needs to be in the same room with an infectious cancer like him. Thomas is toeing the line as it is.

He has stated he'd be ready in October. It's october. I would not be surprised, nor would I be disappointed, if the Saints brought him in for a look. Dez has half his former self would be a welcome addition in my opinion.
