Saints need to lose John DeShazier, upgrade to Chris Hagan...

No Sh*t, two of those quarterbacks are winless on 0-4 (0-8 total) teams and the other is a two-time SB winner has been benched for a rookie...

You've been saying this for three weeks now. It seems to be based on the fact that because the air yards are short, the plays are ineffective. consider these 4 plays:

1. Kamara's 29 yard TD in the Seattle game.
2. TQS 28 yard play in LA he was injured on
3. Kamara's 18 yard play from the Saints 7 for the first down against Seattle.
4. CGM's TD against Seattle.

Each of these 4 plays contribute to the short air yardage numbers. But each was highly effective.

Now it may be a valid question as to what happens when plays around the LOS are no longer effective and the Saints start to lose games because of it. But it hasn't happened yet, so it really seems like a mountain/molehill type problem in my estimation.

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.

It's been said a lot but not by me lol... I just saw a stat on TV and posted a picture of it, but since you want to have this discussion with me lets do that.

1. Your examples are what are called distinction without a difference. None of those examples speak to the effectiveness of TB checking down. Only how good Kamara, Smith, and Thomas are.

2. YAC have nothing at all to do with TB checking down and YAC are always harder on a team than YIA because of the physicality to earn those yards. Check downs also make it very difficult to move down field on a short clock and get a TD.. Hence all of our FGs...

3. Right now we are 3-1 because of a Special Teams and Defense which you seem to be content with. That will not get you far into the playoffs. Teddy has thrown 2 TDs in three games...

In trying to rationalize TB's check downs you are just making a case that we do not need TB, we can win with any QB that can throw 5 yards.. Put Taysom in.

I've been saying that I want him to play with confidence...

After that play in 3 games TB has 2 TDs and 2 INTs...

It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see. ~ Henry David Thoreau
