Well no, that's a formula, not an opinion.

I doubt they tweaked the formula after the KC loss to make sure they stayed in second place ahead of us.

With all due respect to the writers over there (Neil Paine, Michael Salfino and Josh Hermsmeyer are some of the best guys in advanced stats), they have been overrating the Chiefs for many years now.

K.C. is always ranked in their top 3, even in the years they were an 11-5 team. I know it's part of their ELO model, but for some reason they've been hyping up the Chiefs since at least 2015.

FootballOutsiders is like this with the Cowboys and Steelers. Even now, they have Dallas ranked in their top 5 at #3 to win the SB and that is after back to back losses to ours and GB's defense.
