He followed Payton's instructions and built his game within the structure that coach planned on. Remember, he started Drew out slowly and added a little each week so he wouldn't be overwhelmed or reinjure his shoulder.

I have to semi agree the long ball were pretty much wide open. But when he gets out the pocket he threw for a long 1 st down . Drew which don’t scramble much would have thrown it away. So he’s gives us that other dimension. For teams to worry about. And getting us by with really no # 2 receiver . |
