Or at worst, you're wondering if we should sign a contract with a Drew Brees willing to keep playing in 2020 vs telling him to go away because we are moving forward with Bridgewater at some crazy high contract (north of $20 million most likely)? |

Re: Teddy Bridgewater will get paid this offseason
Bridgewater is better than alot of starting QBs.
But alot of the starting QBs currently are being trained so to speak to be better than what Bridgewater can offer. Most likely wont pan out for most teams, someone will take that into consideration and pay him. Team like Redskins for example could bite, maybe Dolphins. |

As for the other, it's gonna be a tough decision I'm glad I don't have to make. Teddy is a young talented QB better than a lot of Week 5 starters. Brees will be a year older but one of the greatest QBs ever. We can and do win with both. |

Isn't Hill a FA after this season as well?!
I think he might get some intriguing offers coming his way. |

Re: Teddy Bridgewater will get paid this offseason
Coming to and staying with the Saints has worked out perfectly for everyone involved. Will Teddy take a guaranteed $60 million to start for a bad team or $10 million to stay with the Saints? I could also see the Saints going with Hill and saving the money. I can't fault Teddy either way. I mean Pittsburgh could move on from Ben. The Titans might not pay Mariota. The Panthers and Bucs could move forward with a new guy. Everyone else is locked in to draft Tua or go with what they have. It's going to be interesting.

Re: Teddy Bridgewater will get paid this offseason
It's a fascinating conversation, but I am choosing to just live in the moment and enjoy every minute of it. Teddy is here, Drew is here, Taysom is here. This is truly the Golden Age of Saints football, folks. Enjoy!
ETA: If Teddy goes somewhere else next year and gets the big bucks, that's great for him. I don't feel possessive about him, I am simply living in the here and NOW. Savor life while it's happening. This is beautiful stuff! |

Re: Teddy Bridgewater will get paid this offseason
Best case scenario is we win it all and Brees walks away from the game on top. That way we walk into the 2020 season with our leader who knows the system and his proven himself in Bridgewater and a quality insurance policy in Taysom Hill.

Re: Teddy Bridgewater will get paid this offseason
All 3 QBs will be free agents in 2020... it's going to be a wild off season.
We will not have the money to keep Drew and Teddy next year, but if Drew gets another ring I think he retires. I still fully believe that Hill is better than Teddy. I won't be surprised to see Hill as the starter next year given the high amount of $$$ that will be thrown at Teddy from some desperate team. |
