Thanks to some intrepid scouting by the New Orleans Saints, players were able to key on some of the Dallas Cowboys' tendencies on offense two weeks ago in their 12-10 win at Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

According to NFL Network analyst Steve Wyche, Saints players said they found film of Boise State when Cowboys offense coordinator Kellen Moore played quarterback there from 2008-2011. From there the Saints uncovered some helpful information.

"And they saw some of the hand gestures, and some of the things that (Moore) liked to do at Boise that he's incorporated into the Cowboys' offense," Wyche said. "And they were able to pick up some tendencies from that."

New Orleans' defense was stifling in that Sunday night win, holding Dallas to 257 total yards of total offense and sacking quarterback Dak Prescott five times.

In the Cowboys' first three games, Dallas averaged about 32 points per game. It scored 24 in last Sunday's loss at home to Green Bay.

The Cows will continue to lose big games because of the Head Coach & IMO many give Dak too much praise. The Media gave way too much praise for OC Kellen Moore after beating up on non contenders.

Like Parcells said years ago .. "put away the anointing oil".

Even at this level coaching still matters.

Dak is a streaky QB. Much like Romo before him, he can go on a tear and string a few wins together only to come back down to earth. In the end, he pretty much an average QB, playing for an average coach. This year they had the luxury of starting the season against the dregs of the NFL.

Had a coach who did a lot of hand signals. The signals meant nothing. It was usually something really simple like his feet together or apart while he was making nonsense signals lol.

Research your opponents and get to know their tendencies. It pays off.

Cowboys Coaching staff has 15 NFL players. Included in that number are former Saints QB Jason Garrett and Doug Nussmeier along with former Seahag QB John Kitna and Smurf Turf QB Kellen Moore. "All the Kings horses and all the Kings men couldn't put Jurra's Team together again"

dumb move

You don't broadcast an advantage you gained studying an opponent

they become guarded

Use it again

others considered you didn't win on your own

unless you are trolling
wanting other teams with a better record than Dallas come playoff time

stupid move announcing it

Yeah, thought the same thing but screw it. It likely won't work again and it's funny as hell and totally embarrassing because they were suppose to crush us.
