any concern whatsoever that Chase Daniel...
regardless of whether or not he plays one snap next Sunday, can give the Bears all kinds of intel on what the Saints want to do offensively; thus making it more difficult for SP and Co. to gameplan effectively for the Bears in the Windy City?
Since he spent multiple seasons with the Saints holding the clipboard he certainly had plenty of time to learn how Payton's mind works and pick up on things that the Saints would like to do on offense. Just curious what y'all think about this? |

Nah, it’s all there on tape to see. I remember an interview with Luke Kuechly a year or two ago after we played them where he said they knew what plays were coming, but they couldn’t stop us because the execution was so good.

Re: any concern whatsoever that Chase Daniel...
The offense when Daniel was with the Saints was built upon Brees as QB and the other talent available. They had a reduced subset for Daniel in case he had to come into a game. Since Daniel left the offensive personnel has changed tremendously and unlike Brees' plans he wasn't there for any of Bridgewater's plans that have been developed since Brees went down.
I have ZERO concern that Daniel can give them anything that they can't get off game tape from the past four games ... and I will guarantee you that Payton will be coming at them out of left field with this weeks plan. I would be thinking that Payton may throw out a formation or two that Daniel knew and totally change the possible plays. |

In this day and age it's all tape. If a team needs to rely on intel from 2 years ago they're screwed

Daniel is the least of my concerns.

We aren’t beating the Bears. Let’s just get to the bye 6-2 and have Brees back for the Falcons

While we still run a base Air Coryell, the offense has changed drastically since Daniel's days as a backup here.
I think the most changes began to occur in 2017 when we started hitting teams with a more Smashmouth style of approach. If you ever watch highlights from a decade ago and compare them now, the offense is remarkably different. |
