Alvin Kamara has a 'high ankle-type issue' but might play vs. Bears
 

Alvin Kamara is hopeful to play Sunday vs. the Chicago Bears, but the New Orleans Saints running back is dealing with a a "high ankle-type issue," according to an NFL.com report.

The injury will limit Kamara in practice this week, the report says.

Saints coach Sean Payton said after Sunday's win against Jacksonville that Kamara had a swollen ankle going into the game, and he also tweaked his knee during the first quarter.

Kamara played through the ailments, seeing time on 39 snaps for 59 percent of the Saints' offensive plays.

Bound to happen sooner or later. Use him as a decoy. I want to see what Murray can do with the bulk of the carries.

I'd sit him and let Murray go at the Bears.

Sit him. He could end up getting injured against this defense.

Murray will absolutely get more playing time but I think Kamara will play some. He had 18 touches with it so it can't be that devastating. Rest, time off, treatment. If not, sit the next two before the bye. That's a month off.

5 division games down the stretch are crucial. Kamara needs to get healed up.

Run the heck out of Chris Ivory......if he signs. If not, run the heck out of Washington, Murray, or Taysom Hill. :roll:

Wish we still had Ivory back in his prime. Loved that guy. Remember when We got good RBs that seemed to fall out of the trees like freaking crabapples?
