I saw a stat where the Saints are giving up the most yards against the slot in the NFL. I haven't seen a lot from him in coverage but he's really good around the line of scrimmage. He attacks every play. I think he will have at least two impact plays against the Bears.

This is why we drafted him. |

So.....P Roblem isn't the answer covering the slot?

CGJ played well today.
Great open field tackler, see's the field extremely well and good instincts. Todd Grantham really coached him up at Florida last year. |

CGJ is one of those guys we would despise if he was on another team. He’s an a-hole out there, but he’s our a-hole. That was his reputation in college... he never stops talking junk and will get under guys skin.

CGJ was so fast to the tackle it was like watching Zeus and Apollo going after intruders at the Higgins mansion.

He's much better than P.J. Williams imo.

I don’t understand all the hate on PJ Williams now. He has been pretty good this season and is one of the best open field tacklers in our secondary. Yes, he is limited by his top end speed but within 15 yards, he’s pretty good and has made some big plays in crunch time this season.
With Apple and P Rob being hurt we will need both of them to contribute. Let’s not forget or ignore how bad CGJ got owned on that TD to A Rob. He still has a way to go in coverage also. I’m glad he was able to contribute and play a good game overall. |
