He'll be back in 3 weeks though. I'll take 3 weeks vs "done for the season" all day.

- This win is all on me. Told Alexa to play some Harry Connick. Broke out the Abita Big Easy IPA's. Did a couple Benson Boogies. VICTORY!
- In sports, especially football, you have to show up and bow up. The Saints have done that every week so far.
- I hope Payton has a desire to coach for many years to come. Outside of the guy in New England, he's the best.
- The OLine showed they are the best in the NFL today.
- CGJ is a football player. I thought him pointing out Cohen's stature was hilarious. More importantly, he backs up his smack talk.
- Murray showed up and bowed up.
- Harris is a bad little man.

- God bless him, Ginn does not like contact.
- The Bears coach calling timeouts at the end was bush league.
- The special teams coach has some work to do on kickoffs.

Re: Observations from the Saints win vs Bears

1. Not many offensive (holding) penalties, pretty clean game.
2. Only heard Mack's name when they mentioned his absence of presence.
3. Morestead still booming 'em helping us when the game was tight. Special teams otherwise was D- today. I can't help but wonder if Taysom was in as a gunner would we have given up that run back TD? Coulda, shoulda, woulda, I guess.
5. Teddy had some bad throws, but overall have a great game and yes, hit deep.
6. SP deserves coach of the year. I know I keep saying it.
7. Murray is the real deal, keep AK out until 100%, we'll be alright.

Re: Observations from the Saints win vs Bears

Hyper extension is good news.

Go get Emmanuel Sanders before the trade deadline.

Good God. Don't you know how much he could help the team right now?! We need him!! Lol.

Its hilarious. the guy has done absolutely nothing in the NFL. But we "sure could use him."

He must have a big sack, because he's done nothing and there are so many people hanging on it.

Just in case anyone is wondering, Ozigbo was inactive in week 7 vs the Bengals on yesterday.

7 weeks and counting.

Saints coaches .... trust the process.

In the draft he was 3rd I think in yards after contact. Darrell Henderson was first and he was Gurley's backup by default today.

Not that easy to become a starting or a backup RB unless the top 1 or 2 pick. Contractual issues with what is on the roster and also ST needs.
