Nah. After Katrina they called us the new America's team, and it lasted like 3 weeks at the most. That was annoying.

I get that - not wanting pity, sentiment...

But I think it's different now - this team has talent, and salary cap money, spread throughout the roster, so there's lots of guys to get attached and pull...

But it's really remained that way since. The CowGirls just don't want to admit it or even relinquish that moniker. The Fake News isn't happy about it either since we're a smaller market team. Although they shouldn't have a problem with it, since they love GB.
